About me

My name is Hao. I was born in China and spent most of my youth there. From a young age, I've had a keen interest in language learning and a constant curiosity about the world. After graduating from a top law school in China, I worked in government, in consultancy, and as an English teacher at a well-known language school.

As I approached my 30s, I moved to the Netherlands to continue my studies. I earned a master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Leiden University (taught in English). Afterwards, I worked for multinational companies in the manufacturing and logistics sectors. Four years ago, after successfully passing the Dutch language C1 exam, I began another two studies at the universit--one in law and the other in nursing, both taught in Dutch. However, despite my busy schedule with work and studies, I have never lost my passion for language teaching and interpretation.

In the past few years, I have taught Chinese language and culture to the employees of a leading global automotive company and tutored Chinese language students at Dutch universities. At the same time I have taught Dutch at various levels to Chinese people in the Netherlands. In addition to teaching, I have also provided interpretation services for numerous delegations from the Chinese government and civil society, accompanying them on visits to the Dutch Parliament, international organizations, and research institutions. I also assisted a Chinese NGO in translating Dutch legal cases.

My years of experience in language teaching and interpretation have made it clear to me that my passion lies in using my knowledge and skills to bridge people from different cultures. I believe that if we truly learn more about each other, the world woul become a better place.

Professionalism: I have a strong knowledge foundation in both Chinese and Dutch law, am fluent in Chinese and English, and proficient in Dutch. With years of experience teaching language and culture in international settings, I bring a deep understanding of cross-cultural communication. I also specialize in legal and medical Dutch.

Dedication: for me, work is far more than a means of making a living. Each time my efforts help bridge communication foster understanding, or solve problems— I feel a profound sense of purpose and fulfillment. This drives me to approach every task with full commitmenta nd attention to detail.

Lifelong Learning: as the Chinse old saying goes, “Humility leads to progress,” and “Among any group of people, there is always one who can be my teacher.” Learning has always been at the heart of my professional journey. I continuously learn from books, videos, my colleagues and clients, and draw inspiration from my real-world experience. No one achieves excellence overnight — in every field, true professionalism comes from consistent learning and self-improvement.
